Heat treamnet is  used either to prepare a material for future processing (machining, forging, spinning, pressing...) or to add a property such as surface hardeness to improve a product's performance in service. However to establish a full feldge heat treatment shop in a manufacturers premises would fruther complicate their manufacturing process apart from the huge investment involved. This gives birth to establishment of professional heat treatment units, who would offer professional services at economically viable terms, without compromising quality.
